Sentinel Protection Installer is used for something else other then firewall configuration. If you want to set firewall settings for Protection Server, then you will need another solution because these components/applications are used for other purposes and don't have firewall configuration settings available.
Sentinel Protection is a required component for another application. It deals with the activation procedure. If you'll remove it, the software that depends on it will not function anymore. In case you know that there is no such application installed in your computer, you may safely remove it using its uninstaller.
